Ross Appointed Vice President, Professional Services at Solucient

EVANSTON, IL — February 9, 2006 — Solucient®, the nation's leading source of information products serving the healthcare industry, has named Aurelia Ross as vice president, professional services. In this leadership role, Ross is responsible for the growth and development of the company's operational, clinical and planning & marketing consulting services.

Ross brings more than 16 years of experience in healthcare consulting, new program development, performance improvement and provider operations to Solucient. Her areas of expertise include business process reengineering, operations improvement, strategic planning, and medical device assessment and implementation.

Prior to joining Solucient, Ross managed the consulting division of a national firm specializing in provider business planning, clinical service line strategies and financial feasibility analysis. She was instrumental in establishing the professional services division of an e-commerce supply chain management company serving multi-hospital systems and other healthcare organizations. Additionally, Ross dedicated eight years to managing physician practice and hospital operations, driving performance improvement initiatives and new business development. She began her consulting career at Deloitte Consulting and Price Waterhouse Coopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand, LLP) where she held a number of positions with progressive responsibilities during her four-year tenure.

Ross earned a master's of business administration from Ohio State University with an emphasis in service operations and healthcare. She holds a bachelor of science in health services administration from the University of Cincinnati.
