NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System Expands Business Relationship with Solucient

EVANSTON, IL — January 11, 2007 — NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System, a leading global federation of top-quality hospitals, specialty institutes and continuing care centers throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas and the United Kingdom, has expanded its business relationship with Solucient®, a Thomson healthcare business (NYSE: TOC: TSX: TOC), to participate in a system-wide clinical benchmarking program for performance improvement.

NewYork-Presbyterian will be utilizing Solucient's proprietary risk-adjustment methodologies and Professional Services custom solutions expertise to help achieve its clinical performance improvement goals across the system.
